Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia visits NATO HQ

Brussels, 8 November 2019 - NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division organized a visit by a delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to NATO HQ in Brussels on 7 November. The delegation included Deputy Speaker Gordana Čomić (Democratic Party), Andrijana Avramov (Serbian Progressive Party), Vesna Marković (Serbian Progressive Party), Aleksandar Stevanović (Party of Modern Serbia), Branimir Jovanović (Social Democratic Party of Serbia) and Olena Papuga (League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina). A number of NATO officials received the delegation, including Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Ambassador Tacan Ildem. The delegation was received at the Mission of Serbia to NATO by Ambassador Miomir Udovički who informed them about Serbia's co-operation with NATO.Among other things, he stated that the second IPAP, which has just been adopted, reflects a strengthening of trust and cooperation with NATO.
