The annual exhibition of Partner Training Centers (PTEC Marketplace) was held at the NATO Headquarters from November 7 to 8, 2023. The Serbian Armed Forces was represented at the exhibition by the Training Center of Atomic-Biological-Chemical Defense from Kruševac, part of the Armed Forces Training Command, which has been an active member of PTEC since 2013.
At this year's exhibition, activities in the field of training and education were presented by specialized training centers from 24 countries. The Training Center from Kruševac presented six basic and five advanced courses which is implemented for the needs of the Serbian Armed Forces and representatives of other institutions in the Republic of Serbia, but also for members of the Armed Forces of countries from the region, interested NATO and partner countries on a bilateral basis, as well as for the needs of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). As a kind of curiosity and exclusivity in the field of training, the Training Center from Kruševac highlights the use of real chemical agents during training. Since 2016, the Center has implemented training with the use of real chemical agents for members of the Armed Forces of Hungary, Spain, the People's Republic of China, Belarus and representatives of the OPCW.
During the exhibition, the stand of the Serbian Armed Forces was visited by the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Mircea Geoana, and the Director General of the International Military Staff of NATO Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, where they were welcomed by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to NATO, Branimir Filipović and Military Representative of the Republic of Serbia to NATO, Colonel Milan Ranković.
