Assistant Minister for Security Policy Ambassador Dijana Ivančić paid an official visit to the NATO Headquarters in Brussels from October 25 to 27, 2022.
This visit was realized as part of the regular political dialogue between the Republic of Serbia and NATO.
On that occasion, she spoke with the Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Ambassador Betina Kadenbach; with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, Ambassador Baiba Braže; as well as with Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Operations Burcu San.
The topics of the conversation were related to partnership cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and NATO, the current situation in the region, as well as current issues of European and global security.
In particular, opinions were exchanged on the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, the role of the KFOR Mission in Kosovo and Metohija as a guarantor of security and stability in the Province, and the implementation of the Mission's mandate established by UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Ambassador Ivančić also had separate meetings with several ambassadors, permanent representatives of member states at NATO.
