Scientific cooperation with NATO

Brussels, 10 July 2019 - Professor dr. Milovan Stoiljković from the Vinča Institute took part on 8 July at NATO Headquarters in Brussels in the presentation of the project "Detection of Explosives and Weapons in the Fight Against Terrorism" (DEXTER), which is being implemented within the framework of the NATO program "Science for Peace and Security". Besides the Vinča Institute from the Republic of Serbia, taking part in the project are also 10 institutions from 7 member countries and NATO partners (France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Republic of Korea and Finland). The meeting was addressed by representatives of the missions of Italy, Germany and from the Republic of Serbia First Counsellor BranislavPekić. Prof. Stoiljkovic wasreceived by the Head of the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to NATO Ambassador. M.Udovički. During the meeting, the importance and perspectives of the participation of scientific institutes, universities and state institutions from the Republic of Serbia in the program "Science for Peace and Security" was discussed.
